Nuno Feist gives “technical opinion” in the trial against Joana Marques: “It does not correspond to the truth…”

The second session of the trial between Anjos and Joana Marques took place this Wednesday, June 18. And the first witness to be heard was Nuno Feist , who testified on behalf of the duo.

The purpose of his testimony was to give a “technical opinion” on the video that led to this entire process, the brothers’ performance in Moto GP in 2022.

“If the sound had been 100 percent, this would never have happened, because they were not bad,” he began by saying. “If the rhythm was not altered, if the harmony was not altered and it fits, I cannot say that there was any out of tune,” he argued. However, he admitted that the video is “catastrophic.”

“I understand, from the video, the reaction that people are having, but I know that it does not correspond to the truth” , he stressed and added: “These are not the Angels that I know”.

Regarding the most talked about part of the performance – the pronunciation of the word “egrégios” – the musician highlights that “we are talking about an outdoor recording”, not to mention that everything happened during the visit of Emmanuel Macron , President of France.

“From the moment I hear that [referring to the pronouncement] at a state ceremony… I don’t see all that importance,” he downplayed.

In the end, the professor at the National Conservatory disassociates himself from the band, stressing that his relationship with Sérgio and Nelson Rosado is “strictly professional” .
